The introduction of the £10 booking fee in the beginning of 2019 at the time of booking your repair online has now long been scrapped. It was put in place due to customers not been at home or refusing to pay the engineer for his work. As you can appreciate that is bad for business, another customer could of been booked in during that time and we would have to cover the cost our self for traveling.
We stress that a minimum amount that is to be paid for our service is £45. That will only be paid if you decide not to have a repair carried out and not as an addition to labour cost. That money will cover the traveling time spent and time inspecting your appliance. We also supply a large range of the latest appliances to replace your old one if its too costly to repair.
Its mainly large companies that have been late payers and in some cases not paid at all for our service. This has left us out of pocket due to the spares fitted coming out of our budget. We would prefer payment on the day of the repair to avoid the time consuming effort of chasing up debts.
Installments are considered and in extreme cases we have a debt collecting agency that we have instructed to collect debts on our behalf.
